We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Construction Safety Admin to support our growing operations in Fresno, CA. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment across all construction sites. As part of our safety team, the Construction Safety Admin will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, delivering training programs, and partnering closely with project teams to foster a strong, organization-wide safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and resolve potential hazards.
- Organize and facilitate safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire onboarding to promote awareness of safety protocols and job site hazards.
- Ensure all personnel are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for their roles.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate safety manuals, training materials, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training sessions, and safety meetings.
- Lead and document weekly HCSS Tailgate meetings and ensure timely submission.
- Maintain and submit ETP rosters for all safety meetings, trainings, onboarding, and employee coaching activities.
- Conduct bi-weekly PPE inventory (shirts, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, vests, etc.) and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Manage compliance platforms and safety programs, including ISNetworld (ISN), Veriforce, OnBoard, and PTC.
- Develop an annual schedule of tailgate safety topics and ensure timely weekly submission to HCSS (every Monday).
- Periodically review and update Red Binder contents (every 612 months) to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field staff to foster a culture of continuous safety improvement.
Licenses & Certifications
- Drivers License (Required)
- CPR & First Aid Certified. Course must be completed in person, online certifications are not acceptable.
- Must possess OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications; experience in underground construction is strongly .
Experience, Competencies & Skills:
- Must have HS Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of proven experience as a construction safety administrator or similar role.
- Knowledgeable in key safety topics, including silica exposure, fire prevention, lockout/tagout procedures, ladder safety, excavation and trenching, heat illness prevention, Valley Fever awareness, slips/trips/falls, Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Confined Spaces, and workplace violence prevention.

Employees must be able to speak, read and write in English. Employee must be able to handle stressful situations, think clearly and with precision and take direction, as well as offer it. Safety Factors
The Safety Administrator must consistently model the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that employees comply with PPE requirements. Regularly assess and identify potential risks and hazards within the workplace, providing recommendations for mitigation. When conducting field visits, adhere to safety protocols relevant to the specific industry or workplace being inspected. Promote employee well-being by supporting health and wellness programs that contribute to overall safety.
Safety Equipment
The Safety Officer should wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toed boots when conducting field visits or inspections. Utilize safety tools such as flashlights, measuring instruments, and safety inspection checklists during inspections. Be familiar with and have access to emergency response equipment, including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency evacuation plans. Carry communication devices, such as radios or mobile phones, to ensure immediate contact in case of emergencies or to coordinate with other team members.
In accordance with California law, the pay scale for this position is ($21.00 -$23.50) per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
