We’re seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in real estate or construction law to join a nationally ranked legal team handling complex, high-stakes development projects across the U.S. and internationally. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on both transactional and litigation matters, with direct exposure to major developers, owners, and contractors shaping skylines and infrastructure around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients through the entire lifecycle of development and construction projects—from planning to operations
  • Draft, negotiate, and review sophisticated construction agreements including AIA forms, EPC, design-build, and manuscript contracts
  • Assist in complex real estate and construction transactions, collaborating with internal legal teams and external stakeholders
  • Conduct due diligence, legal research, and compliance analysis for high-value developments
  • Support or lead dispute resolution efforts including litigation and arbitration for issues such as delay claims, construction defects, and contract breaches

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years ONLY of experience in real estate or construction law at a reputable law firm
  • Strong foundation in both transactional and/or litigation work within the construction or development sector
  • Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment
  • Admission to the New York or Missouri Bar and in good standing

Benefits

Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (based on experience)
