Construction Quality Manager\n\nLocation: Manchester\n\nJob Type: Temporary, Ongoing\n\nDay Rate: £375 per day\n\nWe are seeking a Construction Quality Manager to be the primary on-site contact for our client a leading social housing provider. You will ensure that construction projects are executed to the highest standards. This role involves overseeing the construction process from initial drawings and specifications through to completion, ensuring all aspects meet exemplary standards.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nAct as the main point of contact on site, ensuring construction adheres to required issue drawings and specifications.\nProvide buildability advice during RIBA stages 1 to 4 and manage all construction elements during RIBA stage 5, ensuring a safe, defect-free handover.\nEnsure the end-built product complies with all standards and exhibits top quality.\nManage relationships with all third parties involved in the construction process, including the Housing Association, Sales Progression, and Customer Quality.\nOversee the supply chain and maintain strategic partner relationships.\nCoordinate the identification, analysis, and management of project requirements throughout its lifecycle.\nEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, identifying and mitigating risks.\nPlan and coordinate testing and inspections, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelop work schedules to meet commitments, managing resources and budget effectively.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nSignificant experience in the construction industry, particularly in apartment construction and house building.\nDeep knowledge of build materials, build sequence, and local supply chains.\nProven ability to work on complex, multi-dimensional projects within a large construction organisation.\nStrong judgement and decision-making skills based on evidence and analysis.\nExperience in managing risks, issues, and dependencies within complex programmes.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and customers.\nDemonstrated interest in the business and commitment to customer service.\nUnwavering commitment to health and safety standards.\nDegree in a relevant field; chartered status in a construction-related institution is .If you meet the criteria please apply or contact Mel Applin @ Reed
