Doyon Government Group (DGG) provides design-build and general construction services for demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations.

The Construction Project Support Specialist provides general administrative, coordination, and documentation support for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects. This role ensures project records are accurate, organized, and compliant with federal requirements while supporting communication between project teams, subcontractors, and USACE representatives. Responsibilities include assisting submittals, RFIs, schedules, safety and quality control documentation, and assisting with cost tracking and reporting to keep projects on schedule and in compliance.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with USACE standards, submittal processes, and construction documentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize project documentation in compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements, including submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and correspondence
  • Prepare, update, and track contract deliverables, project schedules, and progress reports
  • Support quality control and safety documentation to ensure all records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready
  • Coordinate communication between project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and USACE representatives
  • Organize and maintain both electronic and physical project files for easy retrieval during reviews or inspections
  • Schedule and prepare materials for project meetings, site visits, and USACE inspections
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely routing and response
  • Track project costs, purchase orders, and invoices; assist with financial reporting
  • Compile and format reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for project leadership and USACE submission

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of construction project support or coordination experience (federal experience )
  • Strong computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project tracking tools
  • Familiarity with federal documentation standards, safety records, and quality control documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Must be a U.S. and able to pass a government background check

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting USACE or NAVFAC projects
  • Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1, Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage, and construction safety protocols
  • Experience with RMS 3.0, Procore, or other construction management software
