Construction Project Superintendent

Lantz Construction Company of Winchester (LCW) is seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent for projects based in and around Winchester, VA. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of direct superintendent experience on projects in excess of $5,000,000 in value.
Superintendent's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Oversee and drive jobsite safety to insure all OSHA and LCW policies are adhered to and a positive safety culture is fostered.
-Supervise LCW personnel and subcontractors while insuring project requirements and quality standards are met.
-Order materials and maintain inventories as applicable. Approve invoices for materials delivered or purchased.
-Complete daily logs, inspections and record keeping.
-Review submittals and shop drawings and coordinate with all trades.
-Drive the project to meet intermediate milestones and the overall project schedule.
-Meet weekly, or as needed, with subcontractors, owners and LCW management.
-Read plans and specifications. Occasional hands on work may be required.
-An ability to lift, push, pull or lower 50 lbs.
-Move between field and office environments with a working knowledge computers and construction management software.
