Position: Senior Project Manager
Reports to: Director of Construction Division
Location: Burbank CA
Position Summary
Maintco Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee construction and remodeling projects with a focus on multi-site C-store, retail, restaurant, and similar environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing multiple concurrent projects in these sectors and will be proficient in estimating with commercial construction software. We're looking for a relationship-driven leader who can bring new business opportunities and talent to the team through their professional network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecyclefrom planning and estimating to execution and close-out.
- Lead construction activities including ground-up, remodel, and tenant improvement projects across multiple locations.
- Prepare detailed estimates using commercial construction software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore).
- Build and expand a book of business through prior relationships in the C-store and retail construction space.
- Recruit and manage subcontractors and project talent through an established industry network.
- Ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery while maintaining Maintcos quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, architects, and internal teams to align on project scope and execution.
- Maintain compliance with all permitting, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to project staff and field teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 510 years of multi-site construction project management experience, specifically in C-store, retail, or restaurant sectors.
- Proficient in commercial estimating software and construction management tools.
- Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and generating new business.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and hiring from a trusted talent pool.
- History of managing $250K+ monthly project volume and contributing to $2.5M+ in monthly team output.
- Strong track record of delivering quality bids (50+ annually) and creating cost-saving solutions.
- Holds a Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent credential.
- Maintains mobile compliance at or above 98.5%.
