Job Description

Ciarra Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a diverse construction background and a strong understanding of wood framing, to oversee a mix of framing, siding, and steel projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing crews on standard residential or commercial builds as well as “special” projects that require flexibility and problem-solving. This role is for a Framing/Siding/Steel subcontractor and requires cross-capabilities in steel work and other specialty tasks. To be considered, applicants must have some experience in the subcontractor space. General contractor background is considered a plus, but GC only applicants please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

· RFI creation and management of execution teams to include not just the building drawing but

the RFI response drawings as well. All within the CC software system.

· Create and submit full submittals packages including rework for resubmittal across all material

for use on project. All within the CC software system

· Change order requests from creation to approval, including submission for review via the

CC software system.

· Accurately code and approve all project associated bills within the software based ERP.

Engage with AP team to resolve issues with incoming bills.

· Accurately prepare project billings within tight margins including forecasted material and

labor costs.

· Work within a team to execute all duties per the CC defined procedures.

· Maintain top-tier customer trust and care while prioritizing project profitability.

· Participate in and take ownership of project reviews.

· Manage in-house crews across multiple project types, including specialty siding and

specialty steel work.

· Coordinate procurement, material deliveries, and scheduling to align with project schedule.

· Review project scopes and contracts to ensure accurate coverage and budget alignment.

· Team mindset, accountability, documentation, and CC procedural awareness are key to success.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of construction experience, including a broad range of disciplines.

· Cross-functional experience on specialty projects or general contracting assignments.

· Proficient with tools like MS Excel, Bluebeam, and Fieldwire

· Field management, communication, problem-solving skills, personal ownership and

growth mindset.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot between standard and specialized scopes.
