A growing residential construction organization in the Richmond area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact residential projects, including additional dwelling units (ADUs), new home construction, and renovation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion
• Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources across multiple active projects
• Lead projects involving ADUs, home additions, renovations, and ground-up residential builds
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting requirements, and safety regulations
• Identify project risks proactively and implement solutions to maintain timelines and profitability
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality standards, and field coordination
• Communicate project updates effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience within residential or commercial construction
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex construction projects simultaneously
• Strong background in new construction, renovations, and/or residential additions
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Yardi, Buildertrend, or similar
• PMP, CCM, or related project management certification
• Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills
