Job Summary
We are seeking driven and detail-oriented Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to join a commercial construction team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience managing or supporting complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage or assist in managing all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues related to scope, schedule, and budget
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and construction quality
- Lead or support project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractor services
- Track and report project financials, forecasts, and billing
- Support project closeout activities including punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in commercial construction project management or coordination
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification and PMP designation are a plus
