Construction Project Manager For Public Sector Project

Hudson Meridian Construction Group is actively seeking an experienced, high-energy construction Project Manager with Public Sector experience to join our growing team! Project is located in Kingston, NY and is a logistically challenging, ground-up construction project.

This position will require the candidate to master the technical aspects of the project including resolving technical issues with the design team and the contractors and ensure that all project parties are meeting deliverables and expectations.

This individual will also lead the projects financial process tracking the entire project budget and requisition process and ensuring support staff and contractors and consultants submit accurate and timely documentation. Needs to understand and evaluate the projects schedule and identify areas for improvement and/or risk.

Will oversee the day-to-day activities of the engineering and Inspection sub-consultants.

Must have the experience and ability to evaluate and negotiate change orders. Additionally, will be required to lead meetings and manage the client relationship on a daily basis, this will require strong people skills.

Will need to be almost 100% at the Kingston, NY project site, with occasional travel between the jobsite and the main office in NYC (and stay overnight at either location as needed).
