POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Construction Project Manager will supervise a number of healthcare projects from start to finish across the country. They will work with the developers and clients to oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results and think outside the box to provide creative solutions to keep the project on schedule. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

LOCATION:  Remote based - 50 - 75% travel required.Responsibilities

• Serve as a problem solver, exploring project details and providing direction/leadership as necessary.
• Proactively identify, explore all alternative options and mitigate direct and indirect project risks.
• Responsible for onsite visits to review compliance with contract documents and observe and report on work in progress.
• Ensures the construction process starts and ends on time and ensures daily and weekly deadlines are met.
• Reviews design documents for construction, completeness, corrections, and coordination and compiles a list of comments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Anticipate key issues for the betterment of the project and make decisions on major project events, taking into consideration the impact the final direction has on the project goals
• Manage equipment coordination and installation.
• Prepare and distribute weekly construction updates for all projects
• Coordinate close out documents

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience of construction project management (preferably in the healthcare industry)
• Understanding of medical equipment and requirements
• Understanding of and ability to read plans and specifications
• Understanding of preconstruction/project development process and requirements
• Understanding of contracts (negotiations, , and requirements)
