We are a growing restoration and reconstruction company seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage insurance-related construction projects from approved estimate through completion and final collection.

The right person is exceptionally organized, comfortable communicating with homeowners, and capable of keeping schedules, subcontractors, documentation, expenses, and project margins on track. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation 

  • Base salary of $70,000–$95,000/yr, based on experience, with compensation reviewed annually through the Annual Reward Planner (ARP).

What You’ll Own

  • Manage multiple restoration and reconstruction projects from scheduling through closeout
  • Serve as the primary client contact and deliver a professional, responsive customer experience
  • Schedule projects with clients after receiving an approved estimate
  • Develop project budgets, margin forecasts, and construction schedules
  • Create work orders, material orders, and other project documentation
  • Recruit, assign, and coordinate qualified subcontractors and construction crews
  • Negotiate subcontractor pricing and approve completed work for payment
  • Partner with the estimator and insurance representatives on documentation, supplements, invoicing, and claim collection
  • Conduct project kickoff and client-care calls throughout the project
  • Track project progress, expenses, profitability, and documentation
  • Ensure work meets quality, safety, permit, insurance-compliance, and client-experience standards
  • Complete client invoicing and collect outstanding balances

What You’ll Bring

  • Three or more years of restoration or reconstruction experience
  • At least one year of experience independently managing multiple construction projects
  • Experience with insurance documentation, compliance, invoicing, supplements, and collections
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing, timelines, job costing, margins, and expense tracking
  • Experience coordinating and supervising subcontractors or construction crews
  • Strong organization, communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working with project-management software, digital files, and basic computer programs
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to visit and navigate active residential construction sites
  • Ability to occasionally lift 30 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule and LocationThe typical schedule is 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Initial training and ramp-up are based at our Eden Prairie office. For the first 6–12 months, the Project Manager will work from the office when not visiting job sites. Once independently meeting role expectations, the schedule may transition to one or two office days per week. Regular travel throughout the Northwest Metro is required.
