MBA Energy & Industrial, LLC (mba-nrg.com), located in Magnolia, Texas, north of Houston is immediately hiring an energetic and experienced Project Manager for managing Oil and Gas Process Facility construction throughout the southwest, plains and Rockies.
Responsibilities
Interpret P&IDs, isometric and orthographic drawings, instrumentation diagrams, read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, review design documents for conformance and accuracy, develop and issue RFI & RFP protocol.
Coordination and management of complete project life cycle from initiation through close out phase - Scheduling, planning, budget management, and project tracking experience, track and control cost while remaining within budget, manage CO’s, shop drawings review, punch list and project close-out.
Manage and coordinate meetings with Clients & Professional Service Providers, Conduct site visits and issue reports to upper management and clients. Manage meetings, take and issue meeting minutes, and O&M manuals.
Award bids, negotiate contracts and manage contract delivery programs. Meet with subcontractors and service providers to determine requirements and ensure implementation, manage and coordinate junior project managers and superintendents.
Ideal Applicant
An ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of experience working in the Construction Industry as a Project Manager as well as experience with Oil & Gas projects such as gas plants, SWDs, or solid transfer facilities involving piping, valves, and instrumentation installation. Our projects move at a fast pace so strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize are essential to success in this role. Completion of degree program in construction management or engineering is but not required.
The Role
The Project Manager position is a full-time role with an average 40-hour work week. This person will be based in our Magnolia, TX office. Minimal travel is required, typically to West Texas for 3-4 days averaging every 6-8 weeks dependent on the project requirements. Hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8-5. Starting salary is $100,000 per year and is based on experience with quarterly bonus eligibility.
