Seeking a Construction Project Manager opportunity with a well-established company in Madison, Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 5+ years of project management experience. Candidates with additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.

Schedule:
\n
Day-shift Monday-Friday, typically 45 hours/week
\n
\n
Compensation:
\n
$110,000-$130,000+ (higher salary considered based on experience and qualifications)
\n
\n
Job Summary:
\n
This position will provide project management for all aspects of civil and foundation construction. This position will have some local and regional travel.
\n
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
• Understand the terms and scope of the construction contract
\n
• Coordinate subcontractor activities
\n
• Track material, production, and project costs
\n
• Quality control and adherence to specifications.
\n
• Corresponding and negotiating with the Owner and Fed/Local Agencies
\n
• Maintain project schedule
\n
• Attend construction related meetings to support project related functions
\n
• Leading, mentoring and managing staff
\n
• Material and Subcontract negotiations and purchasing
\n
• Estimating, take‐offs, solicit quotes
\n
• Promote safety – assist with the implementation of all applicable HSE programs, policies and procedures
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
• B.S in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of experience
\n
• P.E. and/or project management experience in civil and foundations construction
\n
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and manage tight deadlines
\n
• Ability to successfully negotiate terms and conditions
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
• Computer software proficient, specifically with estimating and job cost tracking software
\n
