Construction Project Manager in Indianapolis

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing retail or commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

\n

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans.

\n

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field personnel.

\n

• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contracts.

\n

• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

\n

• Monitor project costs, billing, forecasting, and financial performance.

\n

• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners and stakeholders.

\n

• Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.

\n

• Work closely with the Superintendent and field team.

\n

• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements.

\n

• Manage punch list and final project closeout.

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of construction project management experience.

\n

• Required: Retail or commercial construction project experience.

\n

• GC/General Contractor experience strongly .

\n

• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.

\n

• Strong understanding of construction plans, contracts, scheduling, and budgets.

\n

• Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software experience .

\n

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

\n
