Construction Project Manager (High-End Residential)

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager (High-End Residential) to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation — ensuring projects are delivered with exceptional quality, on time, and within budget. This position is based in San Francisco and will require site visits to various active projects multiple times per week.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with foreman and site supervisors to make sure they have clear construction documentation, material, labor, and project support for their assigned projects

• Coordinate internal carpentry crews and site supervisors, as well as subcontracted trades including Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and finish trades regarding scheduling and cost (subcontractors)

• Produce and maintain project updates, timelines, meeting agenda and notes, change order documentation, RFIs, and submittals.

• Interface with architects, engineers, and clients professionally and punctually

• Run weekly project meetings with clients, project foreman, and design professionals

• Ensure all parties involved are aligned on project goals and expectations for quality, cost, and timeline

• Schedule inspections (City and Third-Party)

• Maintain an amicable, responsive, and firm relationship with clients, managing expectations and communicating clearly throughout the project lifecycle

• Purchase project materials making sure to account for lead times

• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in high-end residential construction project management

• Familiarity with construction management software

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple trades and stakeholders

• Ability to foster productive, professional relationships with clients and project partners

• Strong client management skills and ability to negotiate change orders/set expectations

• Deadline- and detail-oriented
