Overview:

We’re seeking a Construction Project Manager & Estimator to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. Countertop experience is ideal but not required. This role is integral to the company’s day-to-day operations!

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all project team activities are coordinated clearly and effectively.
• Communicate project changes and progress both within the company and to clients.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure site preparedness.
• Confirm and plan project schedules.
• Handle material purchases and track inventory.
• Review site measurements to ensure they align with contract scope and material quantities.
• Manage shop drawings communications with clients for production approval.
• Maintain organized office filing for all projects.
• Track and respond to service requests promptly.

Estimating:

• Review construction documents for completeness, construction methods, and project scope details.
• Prepare material takeoffs for residential and commercial projects using CAD and SketchUp.
• Create detailed estimates for submission to potential clients.
• Contact vendors to obtain material pricing.
• Download and organize all project documents for new bids in designated storage locations.
• Maintain and organize project folders for easy access and management.
• Conduct follow-ups on bids to track project status and updates.

Required Technical Skills:

• AutoCad - MUST be proficient in AutoCad / Drafting
• Construction Plans - MUST be proficient in reading construction / architectural plans
• SketchUp - Familiar with the software
