About the Opportunity

We’re partnered with a fast-growing company in the construction and data center infrastructure space that is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. This is a high-impact role supporting large-scale data center builds, with strong visibility and opportunity for advancement into senior leadership.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead field-driven construction and installation projects from kickoff through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and on-site execution—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong field experience and the ability to operate in fast-paced, construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle including budget, schedule, and resource planning
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and issue resolution
  • Oversee RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation
  • Monitor field progress and support site teams to maintain schedules
  • Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track
  • Ensure alignment with project scope, client expectations, and quality standards
  • Support trade coordination and job site readiness
  • Drive cost control and overall project profitability
  • Travel to active job sites as needed (25–50%)

Project Scope

  • Large-scale data center construction projects
  • Infrastructure installations including:
    • Equipment racking systems
    • Containment systems (data hall enclosures)
    • Floor grid systems and related finishes
  • Typical project timelines: 6–12 months

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of construction project management or field coordination experience
  • Strong background working in field-based construction environments (required)
  • Experience with GCs and subcontractor coordination
  • Data center, commercial, or industrial project experience
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
