Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central/Northern New Jersey
About the Opportunity:
An established and respected construction consulting firm is seeking experienced Construction Managers to serve as Owner’s Representatives for institutional building projects. This is a full-time position offering medical benefits, 401(k), and paid vacation.
Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Construction Project Managers to oversee and manage construction projects from inception through completion. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This position requires close coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 10–20 years of Construction Management (CM) or trade-level construction experience; or
- 5–10 years of CM experience with a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- 1-5 years of experience for Project engineer position
Project Types:
- Experience in K–12, Higher Education, State, or County construction projects. (Residential experience not applicable.)
Skills:
- Computer literacy a must
- Proficient understanding of plans and specifications
- Organized
- Self-starter
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience with scheduling, negotiations, and quality assurance
- Ability to run job meetings, coordinate project activities, and prepare detailed meeting minutes
