Job Description:
Oversee all aspects of a construction project from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to drive project success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess project plans, reviewing proposed modifications and construction updates.
• Review and negotiate change orders, making informed value judgments.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control reports.
• Collaborate with the design team for necessary plan adjustments.
• Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and quality standards.
• Write progress reports, document weekly updates with photos, and communicate status to management.
• Verify work completion percentages and correlate them with quality control.
• Participate in quality control meetings and enforce safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 15 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Background as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Project Executive.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Expertise in project planning, CPM scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software (Primavera, Excel, database applications).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • OSHA 40 certification.
  • Lead Certified.
  • Experience with landscape, hardscape, and civil projects.
