Construction Project Manager

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager with underground and overhead utility experience in the Los Angeles County area. This ideal candidate will provide direction for the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and manage activities for multiple projects, their term cost, methods, and outcome
• Responsible for providing direction to the team for their scoping and project initiation to include planning, design, permit and easement acquisition for civil and electrical construction projects
• This position requires direct involvement in all tasks necessary for the success of the project execution
• Possesses strong problem and solution solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills as this position requires collaboration to achieve project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, and deliverables
• Proficient knowledge of using project controls processes managing budget, schedulea, forecasting, and project plans while assessing performance against budget targets
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to resolve issues immediately
• Ability to interact and coordinate with outside agencies and project teams

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree Construction Manager, Civil Engineering with field experience working with project controls, design, construction methods and materials
• Seven years’ experience as a project manager
• Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
• Environmental permitting experience with coastal permits, SWPPP, public lands approvals desired
• Overhead and underground utility experience desired
• Project Management Profession certification desired
