We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, particularly in the areas of DSA (Division of the State Architect), K-12 educational facilities, and student dormitories. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant work experience who can effectively lead projects from inception to completion while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with DSA regulations, building codes, and safety standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients
  • Manage change orders and resolve conflicts or disputes that arise during the construction process
  • Implement and maintain quality control and safety programs
  • Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies for necessary permits and approvals
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on DSA, K-12, and student dormitory projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale construction projects
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
  • Strong understanding of DSA processes and requirements
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and legal aspects of the industry
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
