Construction Project Manager

Mid-State, a Harrisburg based General Contractor with over 50 years of experience providing quality construction services to the Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional industries in the central Pennsylvania area is seeking a full-time Project Manager.
Selected candidate will be responsible for:
· Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and construction team.
· Collaborating with the project estimator to evaluate, and select subcontractors, vendors and review potential scope of work issues.
· Attending and participating in Owner, Architect & Contractor meetings.
· Collaborating with the project team to monitor jobsite safety and take any necessary actions to maintain a safe worksite.
· Collaborating with the project superintendent daily.
· Reviewing and preparing project change orders.
· Developing and maintaining accurate construction schedules.
· Ensure compliance with all contract documents and applicable codes.
· Project invoice management.
· Preparing and submitting RFI’s and submittals.
· Reporting on project progress and costs vs. budgets.
· Preparation and submission all project closeout documentation.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction management, a B.S. in construction management or related field.
· Understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field.
· Ability to effectively read, understand and follow project drawings, specifications, and related construction documents.
· A strong analytical thought process with sound judgement and keen attention to detail.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Highly organized and motivated.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Project.
· AutoCAD experience a plus.
