Project Manager – Office Fit-Outs\nLocation: Central London\nContract Type: Freelance (Long-Term)\nDay Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nOverview:\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading fit-out contractor on a long-term freelance basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects across Central London, working with prestigious clients and design teams.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a detail-oriented approach, and proven experience delivering fast-track office fit-outs to the highest standard, on time and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover\n\n * \n\n Coordinate and manage the on-site delivery team and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Develop and monitor project programmes, ensuring milestones are met\n\n * \n\n Manage health & safety compliance, site logistics, and quality assurance\n\n * \n\n Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams\n\n * \n\n Track and report on project costs, variations, and procurement schedules\n\n * \n\n Ensure timely delivery of all site documentation and project reporting\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering office fit-out projects in London\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, preferably within occupied buildings\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certification required\n\nPreferred:\n\n * \n\n Experience with high-end or design-led commercial interiors\n\n * \n\n Understanding of building services (MEP) integration within office fit-outs\n\nThis is a long-term freelance role offering continuity of work and the opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on high-profile London schemes.\n\nTo apply or find out more, please submit your CV or contact us directly for a confidential discussion
