Job Title: Project Manager – Construction (Steel Fabrication)

Salary: $80,000–$140,000

We Search People are partnering with an award-winning construction company based in the Stamford area. We’re currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team and help drive the successful delivery of diverse construction projects.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven and highly organized Project Manager with a solid background in construction. In this role, you will lead project planning and execution from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet milestones and budget goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve project-related issues.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and documentation to senior leadership and clients.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-first culture on every project site.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
