Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Project Engineer to support the daily operations of our construction sites. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent in managing field activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that safety, schedule, and quality standards are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day on-site construction operations.
  • Help manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Monitor site safety, enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, and participate in safety meetings and inspections.
  • Maintain daily logs and reports of site activities, progress, and incidents.
  • Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and schedule.
  • Support the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.
  • Assist in quality control inspections and resolving on-site issues as they arise.
  • Communicate regularly with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on progress and expectations.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized job site.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field .
  • 2+ years of experience in construction (field or supervisory role ).
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient with basic technology (e.g., email, MS Office, mobile apps); familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification .
