Atlas Building Group is seeking an eager and self-driven Construction Project Engineer to provide leadership in the successful execution of project management tasks in the following construction areas:
· Commercial Retail
· Tenant Improvement
· Commercial Office
· Light Industrial

The ideal candidate should possess prior experience and be familiar with construction processes such as bid acquisition, project control documentation and on site construction surveying. The project engineer must be highly efficient and be able to estimate, bid, and manage document controls (RFI’s, Change Orders, Contracts, Submittals, Pay Applications) for multiple projects at any given time. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop and maintain successful working relationships with all project stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, architects, municipalities, etc). The success of the Project Engineer will be gauged by their efficiency and effectiveness in managing all tasks provided to them by Project Managers and the executive team. The successful completion of document controls and continued learning of successful best practices for construction from both inside and outside of our organization are minimum gauges of success for this position.
Requirements
· Bachelors Degree
· Commercial contracting experience in the areas of estimating, project documentation and on site review
· Demonstrate eagerness to learn and improve in all construction areas particularly estimating, bidding and managing projects
· High level understanding of construction practices and methods
· Availability to Travel for Projects
· Strong oral and written customer service skills
· Excellent personal organization and time management skills
· Ability to adopt and improve upon company practices and procedures
· Ability to work well individually and as a team member
· Strong ethical conviction
