Construction - Project Engineer/Project Manager

Main Line Commercial Pools, Inc. is the leading and largest commercial swimming pool construction, service and sales company in the Mid Atlantic region with over 40 years of tradition.

We are looking to expand our internal project management team.

The Project Engineer/Manager position would work directly with existing Project Managers and Company Ownership to help manage all aspects of the construction projects. This would include but not be limited to the following duties:

• Coordinate all submittal packages with the design team
• Material Take Offs and Ordering
• Field Inspections
• Project Turnover Documentation
• Ability to oversee construction team and supervise construction of large commercial projects from 1 million to 7 million dollars

Communication and coordination skills:

• Direct communication with owners, construction managers, subcontractors, etc..

Documentation and reporting skills:

• Scheduling, subcontractor coordination, purchasing coordination
• Review plans and develop project submittal packages
• Coordinate all aspects of project submittals through approval stages

Construction knowledge requirements

• Layout and Site Work knowledge:
• Layout of work
• Oversee excavation, backfill and various site work activities

• Structural Concrete knowledge:
• Forming, Rebar, Pouring of Concrete
• (Note that MLCP will subcontract Shotcrete and large concrete pours)

• PVC Plumbing knowledge:
• PVC sch 40 and 80 plumbing up to 14” diameter
