PROJECT ENGINEER

KBS, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most established commercial contractors, is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and technical activities on our construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers to help maintain schedules, manage submittals and RFIs, track costs, and ensure quality and safety on site.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain submittal/RFI logs and contract documents
• Assist with schedule updates and project documentation
• Support PMs with purchasing, cost reviews, change orders, and quality control
• Conduct site walks and document progress
• Coordinate with subcontractors and design partners

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ years with a GC or a degree in construction, engineering, or architecture
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and construction software
