Construction Project Engineer

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to support our drywall and framing operations. This role will assist in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met for interior scope work.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of drywall and framing projects from start to finish

• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, submittals, RFIs, and change order management

• Coordinate material deliveries, manpower planning, and equipment for assigned projects

• Work closely with field superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality

• Interface with general contractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and owners regarding drywall-related scope

• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope requirements, conflicts, and constructability issues

• Assist with pricing, reviewing, and negotiating change orders to ensure fair and accurate costs

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and company standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in drywall, framing, or interior construction

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role is a plus

• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
