Role Description

This is a full-time work-from-home role for a Construction Risk Manager, based in the Greater Philadelphia area with monthly in-person meetings at our Berywn, PA office. The Construction Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the progress of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.  Duties include day travel (Eastern PA, DE, NJ) to visit a construction job site to monitor and evaluate progress, or to evaluate the condition of an existing building. Other duties include the ability to understand and read project plans, specs, budgets, and schedules to determine if the projected costs are in line with industry and regional standards. The successful candidate will be able to review financial draw documents related to progress and compare them to the site conditions. Tasks involve driving to multiple jobsites, meeting/interviewing site supervisors, photographing current site conditions, and providing a written report of progress and any deviations from established templates. The candidate should also be able to review a construction schedule and comment on the current status in relation to the published project schedule.

Qualifications

  • 10 yrs experience in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Proficiency with computer software and tools (MS Office, Teams, CRM)
  • Knowledge of the AIA G702/703 Payment Application
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field


Compensation/Benefits

$60-85,000 yearly - based on experience and qualification
