We’re hiring a skilled Painter to join a construction team in Wallingford, CT. This role is ideal for someone experienced in sheetrock work, finishing, and painting who takes pride in delivering clean, professional results on residential and commercial projects.

Position: Construction Painter
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Wallingford, CT

Job Responsibilities:

• Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall (sheetrock)
• Sand surfaces to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish
• Perform interior and exterior painting on residential/commercial job sites
• Patch, repair, and prep surfaces prior to finishing
• Mix and apply compounds, primers, paints, and coatings
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Follow project specs and work closely with the construction team

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in drywall finishing and/or painting (construction environment )
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Familiar with construction tools and materials
