Construction Operations Manager in Boston

Job DescriptionJob Description
About Ideal Siding

Ideal Siding is the fastest-growing siding renovation company in North America, with multiple divisions across Canada and the U.S. We’re redefining the home exterior renovation industry through innovation, exceptional service, and a people-first culture. Our team is driven, professional, and passionate about helping homeowners improve their homes while building long-term trust in our brand.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Construction Operations Manager to join our growing team in the Boston region. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and knows how to keep jobs running smoothly from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring projects stay on time, teams stay on track, and clients stay informed and satisfied. If you're a natural problem-solver with strong leadership skills and a knack for customer communication, this is your chance to join a growing company with real opportunities for advancement.

From coordinating crews and managing materials to handling client check-ins and resolving the occasional curveball, no two days are exactly the same. You’ll have the freedom to structure your day, the support of a strong corporate team, and the satisfaction of seeing projects come to life, without being stuck behind a desk.

Lead Projects. Build Relationships. Drive Results.

We Offer

  • Earning Potential: Competitive compensation package with performance-based bonuses.
  • Training and Support: Gain industry knowledge, leadership training, and access to a network of successful franchisees and corporate support.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Lead crews, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth in a fast-paced and rewarding industry.
  • Career Progression: Be part of a fast-expanding company with ample room for professional advancement.
  • Flexible Schedule: This is not a desk job. We trust our employees to structure their days more efficiently around client meetings and site visits. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a hybrid remote environment and prefer hands-on work over a rigid 9-to-5 routine.

A day in the life:

  • Morning Check-In: Review the project schedule and ensure all crews are prepared for the day’s tasks. Communicate with vendors to confirm material deliveries.
  • Client Communication: Check in with homeowners to provide updates on ongoing projects, address questions, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Midday Operations: Handle material orders, manage change orders, and monitor project budgets to ensure everything stays on track. Recruit, schedule, and oversee installation crews as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Address unexpected issues, such as material delays or customer concerns, and work with your team to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
  • Daily Wrap-Up: Review progress reports, evaluate upcoming priorities, and plan your next day to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have an unrestricted or a siding/windows Construction Supervisor License (CSL) from the State.
  • Construction Operations Experience: Experience in project management or operations, ideally in siding, renovation, or a construction-related field.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Ability to recruit and manage installation crews, coordinate with vendors, and oversee multiple projects at once.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using different software to manage project schedules, generate reports, and track client interactions.
  • Problem-solving ability: Skilled at handling unexpected challenges, from material delays to customer concerns, and finding quick, practical solutions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits and on-site management.
