We are currently seeking a Construction Manager (TEMP) who will be responsible for enabling projects that enhance connectivity. Are you seeking an innovative culture where you will be a key member in building tower services sites? We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager on a long-term temporary basis, who will be responsible for the design and implementation of wireless communication installations. The key responsibilities will include project cost estimation, resource allocation, budget tracking, and ensuring client requirements are met. You will interact with project team members, supervisors, project managers, property owners, clients, and vendors by phone and in person.

  • Locations: US - Remote (Position requires being located in or near designated regions)

What You will Do:

  • Prepare project cost estimates to include but not limited to, labor, travel, equipment and software.
  • Manage projects to include allocation of resources, budget tracking and status reports.
  • Determine client and/or property owner’s needs.
  • Report client’s requirements to project team.
  • Conduct field walks.
  • Survey client’s equipment and configure property.
  • Design equipment to meet layout standards.
  • Domestic travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
  • Conduct Bid walks, feasibility walks, preconstruction meetings, and punch walks (TJE).

What We are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) or more years of construction/project management experience in the telecommunications infrastructure industry.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite products (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must have demonstrated Construction Project Management skills required to lead projects through to completion (or post review processes.)
  • Must have solid experience with construction processes and methods including regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Must have solid experience reading and redlining Construction Drawings and RFDS.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated/self-managed with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within market.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s insurance carrier’s criteria for coverage under the company’s insurance policy.
  • Able to obtain a Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification, if required.
  • Able to work in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role operates in a remote work environment with opportunities to collaborate across different states teams. Physical demands are consistent with field environments, extensive driving required and able to pick up/move materials in excess of 50 lbs. pounds throughout the day.
