Construction Manager - Energy Solutions - CMTA

CMTA, located at 2751 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee energy solutions projects. CMTA is a rapidly growing engineering firm specializing in sustainable, high-performance building engineering, performance contracting, and zero energy projects.

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will ensure successful project delivery post-design phase, with experience in HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction, and strong communication skills. The role involves on-site supervision during heavy construction and possible remote work during other periods, with travel required to job sites.

Responsibilities include:

Pre-Construction:

Review drawings, assist in subcontractor selection, manage bidding, review contracts and M&V requirements.

Construction:

Develop schedules, manage safety and safety programs, coordinate equipment and vendor submissions, lead meetings, prepare weekly reports, assist with commissioning and M&V, review pay applications, track financials, and handle owner training and punch lists.

Post-Construction:

Address issues, resolve warranty claims, develop manuals and as-builts.

Management, communication, training, construction, pay applications, start-ups.
