Job DescriptionCSA CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – MIXED-USE, LIFE SCIENCES & COMMERCIAL Location: London Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Benefits Sector: Mixed-Use, Life Sciences & Commercial Position: CSA Construction Management We are recruiting for a CSA Construction Manager to join a major construction project in London. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages across major Mixed-Use, Life Sciences and Commercial developments, working closely with the Project Director, MEP teams, client, design partners and subcontractors. THE ROLE * Lead the day-to-day delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages. * Coordinate CSA works with MEP activities to ensure fully integrated site delivery. * Manage and supervise CSA subcontractors and design partners. * Take ownership of packages, forward plan and drive delivery against programme requirements. * Coordinate site logistics and material deliveries. * Review construction drawings, specifications and design information. * Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination. * Produce short-term lookahead programmes and monitor progress. * Coordinate construction sequencing and resolve technical issues. * Carry out quality inspections, snagging and defect close-out. * Ensure RAMS, QA documentation and project records are maintained. * Coordinate with the client, design team, project management team, subcontractors and suppliers. * Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor on CSA cost and commercial matters. * Support commissioning, handover, O&M documentation and project close-out. * Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, health & safety requirements and project standards. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Minimum 5 years' experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or CSA Manager. * Experience working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor. * Strong experience delivering Mixed-Use, Life Sciences, Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Industrial projects. * Strong Civil, Structural and Architectural construction background. * Experience managing multiple CSA subcontract packages. * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination with MEP. * Experience managing design partners and driving design deliverables. * Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience. * Excellent understanding of site logistics, quality, H&S and Building Regulations. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. * Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Building or a related discipline. * Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable
