\nThe Construction Manager Role\n \nAs the Construction Manager, you will report to the Project Lead and take full ownership of the construction process – from winning the project through to successful delivery on site. You will have responsibility and accountability from the pre-construction phase right through to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved.\n \nYour Responsibilities\n \n

  • \nLead and manage all site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.\n
  • \n

  • \nDrive quality standards and implement robust control processes throughout the project lifecycle.\n
  • \n

  • \nCoordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.\n
  • \n

  • \nOversee planning, sequencing, and logistics to optimise efficiency and mitigate risks.\n
  • \n

  • \nEnsure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company procedures, and statutory requirements.\n
  • \n

  • \nTake ownership of project delivery from cradle to grave, including pre-construction planning, mobilisation, and final handover.\n
  • \n

\n \n \nYour Profile\n \n

  • \nEducated to degree level or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.\n
  • \n

  • \nA strong track record of leading teams and successfully delivering major construction projects.\n
  • \n

  • \nGood knowledge and understanding of appropriate forms of contract such as NEC3 and JCT Design & Build.\n
  • \n

  • \nA technical engineering background that enables you to drive project completion within budget and on time, with a focus on quality.\n
  • \n

  • \nExcellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead site teams.\n
  • \n
