Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Laborer with carpentry experience to join our team. This role involves working with building materials, following blueprints, and assisting with construction and finishing tasks including painting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans
• Select appropriate materials such as lumber or fiberboard based on project needs
• Measure, mark, and prepare layouts using tools such as framing squares and calipers
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials using saws, chisels, and other hand/power tools
• Construct and assemble frameworks, subflooring, and structural components
• Install prefabricated windows, doors, doorframes, and trim
• Install finish hardware such as locks, handles, and kick plates
• Verify accuracy of structures using levels and measuring tools
• Perform painting and finishing work as required
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow all safety procedures and project guidelines

Requirements:

• 1+ year of general carpentry or construction experience required
• Painting experience required
• Knowledge of construction materials and technical specifications
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and plans
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and crouch throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and on a team
