At CL Construction, we take pride in building with precision, craftsmanship, and safety. We’re looking for skilled Metal Building Construction Laborers to join our team and help construct high-quality pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) for commercial and agricultural projects.

What You’ll Do

• Raise, place, and secure structural steel framework for pre-engineered metal buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout, materials, and installation details.
• Align, bolt, and weld columns, beams, and girders according to plans and safety standards.
• Operate or signal cranes and hoisting equipment to move steel members into position.
• Install wall panels, standing seam roofs, insulation systems, metal decking, and trim.
• Verify alignment using lasers, levels, and transits to ensure precision.
• Cut, bend, and weld steel components using torches and fabrication tools.
• Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and finishing for a high-quality final product.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and follow all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Dismantle or modify existing structures when required.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience erecting and finishing pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) required.
• Proficiency with rigging, welding, cutting torches, and hand/power tools.
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and working at heights.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to craftsmanship.
• Ability to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• OSHA 10/30 and NCCER certifications .
• Clean motor vehicle record and ability to meet pre-employment requirements.
