Gillmann Services is seeking a dedicated Water Damage Technician to join our restoration team. This vital role involves responding swiftly to water damage incidents, assessing affected areas, and executing effective mitigation and restoration procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment essential for water damage and flood restoration projects. This position offers opportunities for growth within the restoration industry and requires on-call availability to respond to emergencies promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in flood restoration, water damage remediation, or related fields within the restoration industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazardous material handling such as mold or asbestos.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate project costing.
• Construction experience is advantageous for repair or reconstruction tasks post-restoration.
• Emergency response readiness with on-call coverage availability for urgent situations.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety standards and protocols throughout all operations.
