Job Title: Construction Labor Compliance Coordinator

Shift: 8-hour shift

Compensation: Starting at $51,840 per year

Position Summary:

Erosion Control Experts is seeking an experienced Construction Labor Compliance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for meticulously maintaining certified payroll records and ensuring adherence to labor compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of prevailing wage and labor compliance, exceptional communication skills, and a professional demeanor. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with accounts payable and providing support to the labor compliance department as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and interpret labor compliance and certified payroll requirements within contracts
  • Set up projects in the DIR and LCP tracker systems according to identified requirements
  • Maintain and update the company's labor compliance log on a daily basis
  • Review and maintain certified payroll records and other essential labor compliance documentation
  • Identify and communicate payroll errors to appropriate parties for correction
  • Monitor labor compliance emails and address urgent issues promptly
  • Utilize the Department of Industrial Relations processes to locate necessary information and report DIR certified payroll
  • Verify prevailing wage determinations per the Department of Industrial Relations guidelines
  • Assist with overall labor compliance department needs and duties
  • Send DAS 140's and 142's per craft as required
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of compliance documentation
  • Provide support to the accounting department manager as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in prevailing wage and certified payroll management
  • Strong knowledge of labor compliance regulations and contracts
  • Proficient in utilizing DIR and LCP tracker systems
  • Ability to analyze and identify payroll discrepancies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
