Job Title: Construction Inspector

Location: Honolulu, HI (US Coast Guard Base)
Job Type: Full-Time Onsite | Contract (Approx. June 2026 – Feb 2027)

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to provide full-time, on-site inspection and oversight for a federal construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily on-site construction inspections and monitor contractor performance
• Ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, and specifications
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and photo documentation
• Review submittals, schedules, change requests, and payment applications
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Identify and report safety issues and non-compliant work
• Assist with testing, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, specifically citing marine and waterfront construction
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience on Federal Government construction projects as a government CI, Superintendent, or Quality Control Manager
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Physically able to work on active construction site
