  • Perform technical support while sharing your expertise.
  • Perform and document safety inspections at job sites across the St. Louis Metro Area.
  • Monitor safety compliance and enforce protocols for customer employees.
  • Lead new hire safety , ensuring completion of all required documentation.
  • Facilitate weekly safety toolbox meetings for customer employees.
  • Identify, address, and correct unsafe behaviors on job sites through proactive coaching.
  • Collaborate with Customer Supervisors and Foremen to ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures, including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-shift safety reviews.
  • Investigate incidents, including injuries, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain all required safety documentation and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, company policies, and client safety standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by actively engaging and educating employees at all levels.

CORE COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

You should have:

 

·         Strong understanding of construction safety standards, risk assessment, and hazard prevention.

·         Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to engage and influence employees.

·         Ability to manage safety orientations, oversee programs, investigate incidents, and report findings.

·         Experience working with management, owners, trades, and subcontractors in a construction setting.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and E-tools for documentation and reporting.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

·         OSHA 30-hour certification (CSP, ASP, CHST, or higher certification is a plus).

·         Ability to navigate and work in active construction sites, including climbing stairs and maneuvering through uneven surfaces.

·         Position requires reliable transportation and be willing to use your own vehicle (mileage compensation included). Note: Valid driver’s license required. A background check will be conducted.
