Construction Health and Safety Advisor (SHORT- TERM PROJECT SITE BASED)
Job Description
Background
We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisor for an ongoing renewables project in the North East of England.
Role
This short-term contract role will be site based for approximately 6 - 9 months, MON - FRI 8.00 - 16.30. We require someone with significant experience, knowledge and skills in construction safety, preferably with renewables and / or utilities experience.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities / qualifications:
- A degree in a safety, construction or design related field (preferable)
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
- CSCS Professionally Qualified card
- SSSTS / SMSTS (preferable)
- Experienced in UK construction safety and / or renewables
- Significant knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations
- Experience of working on site within a busy, customer focused environment
- Able to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Develop strong working relationships
- Pragmatic and can work independently
- Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required
- Member of IOSH and APS (preferable)
