Position Title: General Foreman

Location: Mountain View, CA

Schedule: Nights & Day Shift

Employment Type: Full TIme

As a Construction General Foreman at NCW, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations on commercial construction sites. This includes managing subcontractor crews, maintaining safety compliance, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring efficient workflow from project start to finish. You’ll play a key role in supporting the superintendent and project manager, focusing on productivity, team coordination, and problem-solving on site.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct field crews and subcontractors to meet daily and long-term project goals.
• Ensure all site activities are performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Enforce project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist with layout planning, site logistics, and setup of temporary utilities and structures.
• Monitor materials, tools, and equipment inventory and usage.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for workforce coordination and issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure schedules and targets are met.
• Use construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a foreman or lead in light industrial, retail, or commercial construction, including remodel or ground-up projects.
• Background in high-end interior or tenant improvement (TI) projects .
• Proficient with tools like Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of field supervision including: Jobsite safety and hazard mitigation,quality control and compliance, constructability review and schedule tracking
• OSHA 30 certification .
