Construction Foreman & Skilled Laborer

We are seeking a hands-on Foreman to oversee daily job site operations and support a small team of general laborers. This role involves both leadership and technical skill; ideal for a well-rounded professional with a background in tile work, general construction, and team supervision.
The Foreman will work closely with the company owner to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate job site activities, ensuring smooth workflow and quality control.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as painting, spackling, framing, general repairs, and more.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Communicate daily with clients, subcontractors, and Hampton Tile management.
- Track materials, tools, and job progress; assist with planning and logistics.
- Maintain clean and organized work environments at all job sites.
- Train and mentor less-experienced crew members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Foreman or lead construction role.
- Strong knowledge of tile installation and general contracting practices.
- Proficiency in painting, spackling, framing, light carpentry, and more.
- Ability to manage small crews and coordinate job site operations independently.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own tools ; tools can be provided if needed.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
We are looking for a versatile Skilled Laborer who can handle a variety of tasks, including painting, spackling, and framing. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation of general contracting knowledge and a keen eye for detail. Tile installation, plumbing, electrical experience is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing.
- Apply spackle and other materials to prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Carry out basic framing work, including constructing and repairing wooden structures.
- Execute general contracting tasks as needed, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in painting, spackling, and framing.
- Basic general contracting knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license. Own Transportation
