Job DescriptionJob Description

We’re looking for a hands-on, driven Field Engineer / Project Engineer to support jobsite operations and connect field and office operations.

You’ll gain invaluable exposure to project delivery, construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and compliance tracking while working alongside experienced project managers, foremen, and superintendents.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that project execution aligns with plans, specifications, and schedule expectations—helping to maintain momentum and solve problems in real time. This position is ideal for those early in their construction careers or looking to transition into a more field-centric role with room for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily field reports and logs

• Assist with layout, quantity takeoffs, and basic site measurements

• Conduct quality control inspections and document findings

• Work closely with PMs and Foremen to prepare and update lookahead schedules

• Coordinate third-party inspections, utility tie-ins, and testing with relevant stakeholders

• Monitor safety compliance and help facilitate safety meetings or toolbox talks

Qualifications

• Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (degree or experience)

• Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills

• Basic understanding of construction drawings, layout, and measurements

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in outdoor environments

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Raken, Autodesk/PlanGrid, Monday.com is a plus
