Gillmann Services is now hiring for a Construction Field Coordinator/ Project Engineer in Spartanburg SC!

The ideal candidate has relevant construction experience and understands job site operations, can communicate effectively with both administrative staff and field workers, and is comfortable handling documentation, compliance, and safety paperwork.

Responsibilities:

Safety & Documentation

• Prepare and complete daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and associated daily documentation
• Track and maintain safety certifications and training records
• Coordinate job site access paperwork and onboarding documentation
• Maintain safety documentation for site compliance
• Assist with toolbox talks and safety communication

Administrative Support

• Organize and submit required job site paperwork
• Maintain project documentation and logs
• Assist with miscellaneous job site administrative tasks
• Help ensure crews have completed all required certifications before starting work

Jobsite Coordination

• Walk the jobsite to observe work activities and safety compliance
• Assist field supervision with documentation and reporting
• Track manpower and daily production notes when needed
• Support QC documentation and jobsite checklists

Requirements

• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 strongly )
• Commercial construction experience and knowledge (Experience in drywall, acoustical ceilings, metal stud framing, IMP installation a plus)
• Ability to walk large active construction site daily, work outside in all weather conditions
• Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with field personnel and supervision
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, digital forms)- Daily reports hand written
• Reliable transportation and open availability for day shift work (full time and overtime hours as needed)
• Consent to drug, background screening
