Construction Expediter/Laborer

Design/Build Company with an outstanding reputation of over 30 years of quality and service in search of a Construction Expediter. We seldom have openings for this position and are looking for a qualified full-time expediter.

Requirements:
Must have your own transportation and provide CLEAN driver abstract
Must have current & valid driver's license
Be able to heavy loads of up to 60 lbs
Familiarity of construction a plus; dimensional lumber, material types, etc.
Be dependable, have excellent communication skills & a positive attitude

Tasks

• Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites
• Pick-up & delivery, unloading & loading materials, site clean-up, performing demolition and other various tasks
• Assist carpenters and project managers in performing & maintaining high-quality work
• Dig ditches, trenches, back-fill excavations, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
• Communicate with project managers

Typical work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Monday-Friday) 40 HRS/WK
