Construction Estimator

London & South East (Hybrid)

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team.

The Role

You will play a key role in securing and shaping our future workload, leading the pricing and commercial input on a wide range of projects, typically valued between £100k and £5m.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
• Managing the enquiry process with our vetted supply chain via Constructionline Buyer
• Identifying value engineering opportunities to enhance competitiveness
• Supporting bid strategy and contributing to win themes
• Liaising with internal teams including Bids, Design, Commercial, and Delivery
• Attending site visits, tender interviews, and client meetings where required

About You

We are looking for someone who has sound commercial awareness, detail-driven, and aligned with our collaborative approach.

You will have:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
• Experience across design & build, refurbishment, fit-out, decarb & retrofit
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and pricing
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• UK and live within 30 miles of TN16 1BT

Desirable:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
• Experience working within frameworks & public procurement routes
